Scenario Based Training
Emergency Medical 1 (EM1)
In Emergency Medical 1, students will be trained in CRP/AED for all ages, common medical emergencies, and trauma emergencies. At the completion of the course, students will earn a CPR card, Basic First Aid card and TECC certificate valid for 2 years.
The course covers American Heart Association standards for CPR, use of an Automatic External Defibrillator and chocking for adults, children, and infants. During the medical portion of the class, the most common types of medical emergencies will be covered including heart attacks, stroke, diabetic emergencies, environmental emergencies, and the different types of shock and how to prevent and treat it.
Much of the trauma will focus on penetrating injuries such as gunshot wounds and stabbings. The standards are based on Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) guidelines and controlling massive hemorrhage. Identifying fractures and treatment with simple splinting will also be covered as well as spinal injuries.
The course is a combination of lectures, videos, PowerPoint, and hands-on learning. Although lecturing is part of the class, come prepared to get hands-on and learn through performing medical assessments, splinting, tourniquet placement, wound packing and much more.

Basic Course
Adult CPR / AED
- An extremely flexible program that teaches how to recognize cardiac arrest, activate emergency medical services and respond appropriately until additional assistance arrives. Also covers how to respond to urgent choking situations.
- CPR and AED is designed specifically for individuals, and is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting. This extremely flexible program will help prepare individuals to respond to a cardiac arrest and choking. This program conforms to the 2020 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC.
- Class covers only Adult procedures.

BLS Provider
This class offers the medical professionals the required BLS certification in CPR and AED training. It covers adult, child and infant High Performance CPR and airway adjuncts such as OPA, NPA and BVM. Team positioning and multi rescuer CPR is covered with hands on practice.
- This class is designed for EMTs, nurses, doctors, dentists or personnel who require BLS Certification.
