Emergency Trauma Care 1 (ETC1)
Course Details
The ETC1 training course focuses on providing emergency prehospital trauma care to those who have suffered major trauma involving blunt force trauma and penetrating wounds. This course follows the Tactical Emergency Casualty Care guidelines and those who successfully complete the course will earn a TECC certificate valid for two years.
Course topics include:
· Rapid assessment
· Equipment familiarization and uses
· Recognition of massive hemorrhage
· The body’s response to trauma
· Treatment for blunt and penetrating injuries
The course involves lectures, video, slides and hands-on practice. The instructors are active paramedics with over 45 years of combined experience in the field.

Basic Course
Adult CPR / AED
- An extremely flexible program that teaches how to recognize cardiac arrest, activate emergency medical services and respond appropriately until additional assistance arrives. Also covers how to respond to urgent choking situations.
- CPR and AED is designed specifically for individuals, and is an excellent choice for both the community and workplace setting. This extremely flexible program will help prepare individuals to respond to a cardiac arrest and choking. This program conforms to the 2020 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC.
- Class covers only Adult procedures.
- PACE credits available

BLS Provider
This class offers the medical professionals the required BLS certification in CPR and AED training. It covers adult, child and infant High Performance CPR and airway adjuncts such as OPA, NPA and BVM. Team positioning and multi rescuer CPR is covered with hands on practice.
- This class is designed for EMTs, nurses, doctors, dentists or personnel who require BLS Certification.

Basic Course
